Eccentric Exercise: Its Benefits and a Word of Caution
In this video I explain the function of eccentric contractions, how they can be used for rehab, and how they can be used to build elite ability. I reference a recent study where eccentric nordic hamstring curls were used in addition to traditional physical therapy with excellent results after ACL reconstructive surgery. From there, I give personal examples of how I have used eccentrics to break through personal plateaus in my fitness journey.
